Based in the Lake District using traditional methods of construction, the integrity of a large range of hand cut joints and sawn green oak we endeavour to build houses to inspire. Merging oak with local stone, slate and lime mortar we hope our buildings can blend in with their surroundings or even ideally enhance them. Oak framing can be used to create both contemporary and traditional living spaces, being ideal for the use in environmentally friendly houses.

Although oak framing is not associated with the local architecture of Cumbria, it is very evident in the structural roofs and floors of old buildings found in the area. Cumbria has a large number of existing cruck framed buildings.
